I have been reading all your info, and now I need some. I have just started quilting in January, and I now have a queen quilt that I am not able to do on my machine. Do any of you live in or around Plant City with a longarm that do quilts? I need this done by Xmas, and I only need a plain quilting top.

hope someone here responds for you! cute pup!!
PS - try putting a wanted ad on the classified section- put in the title "ISO LA quilter in Plant City FL area." |
Welcome from my rainy corner of Michigan!

Check the local quilt shops for someone near you. Also, you might find someone through local quilt guilds. Ask local churches if they have a quilting group that meets there, lots of them do. You could also place an ad on Craigslist looking for a LAQ. Maybe someone can hook you up that sees the ad. Good luck! Otherwise - ship it to one of the quilters on this board that aren't too far from you.

Screwy Louey (sp) is in Florida and does excellent work.

I don't know of any personally, but check out this link
http://www.floridaquiltnetwork.com/longarm.htm It looks like there are a few options in your county. Make sure you see examples of work done from whoever you choose to do your quilting. If you are willing to get to the Orlando area, I know of a quilter who I can personally vouch for her work there. |
Welcome to the board from Southern California!
