How many of you use the Start/Stop button on your machine instead
of the foot pedal. I have not yet been able to get used to it.

I use it. Love it, I could not go back to a peddle.Try it for 3 days and you will like it.

I have one, but don't use it. I play a lot of piano so I'm more comfortable using my foot and a pedal than some.

I haven't used it but I was thinking it was for the embroidery function...

I don't think I have one. I have a Bernina 440, I wish I did though

i just used mine for sewing long strips together was better than chasing the foot

susiequilt 10-12-2011 03:54 PM

It's great for long strips but not so much for short seams.

I use mine when doing embroidery or buttonholes or other functions that are automatic. I feel I have less control than with my pedal control.
