I swear by http://www.hulu.com/ . They have all kinds of TV shows (even classics like Mr. Ed and The Bob Newhart Show) sorted by genre. Same for movies. The selection of movies isn't the best, but they are free. They also have HuluPlus, which is a pay service, for $7 or $8 per month, but that is for current network tv show archives and for use on different devices other than your computer.

For more of a selection of old movies, have you tried your local library? Ours here rents them out for no charge on DVD and still some VHS. All you need is your library card.

I would also suggest Hulu - they have lots of old movies to watch. If you have Netflix - they have many old movies to watch but there is a fee.

Yes,I', watching Hulu now.And watched some on u-tube.They have many. There was so many listed on utube for free sites, but most were scams or pay.I don't mind paying if there is a big selection.I almost did netflix. But what stopped me was I saw they were listing a bunch of movies, but when they tried to watch, netflix said it was unavailable. So didn't want to waste my $.I'll keep looking tho. Thanks for all your responses.
