These are some pics I thought I would share with you from our local Quilt Fest. I entered a quilt for the first time....no ribbon but lots of positive feedback from the Judge. There were some incredible quilts displayed....amazing talent! Enjoy!

Very nice collection of quilts.

The FMQ on the first pic is insane.

All the 3D flowers and butterflies are very interesting.
I've recently seen it all over.

And that dainty pink and yellow rose quilt - so NOT me, and yet I'm in love with it.

The bear - genius.

I really like the quilt with the turquoris(sp) and purple center! There are talent ladies in every quilt pics !!! Tinker

The Pics do not do these justice....it is sooooo hard to show all of the details, so I'm sure you can just imagine the work.

The Roses were gorgeous and they are NOT me either....every single petal and leaf was quilted!

The Bear was done by a woman in my guild....again the pics just can't do it justice. She taught a class on that one but I didn't even think about tackling that one..LOL...Oh she called it "BUBBA".

So the rose petals were appliqued?
I had thought they might be Broderie Perse.

Even more gorgeous.

Someone else posted a picture of it yesterday and I was so surprised at how entranced - enchanted? - I was with it.

So NOT my style.
