Is there a good book on the twister pinwheel that actually uses the template and not squares put together, cut up and then resewed.

I think that would be very hard to do. if you cut out the twister , how would you sew each one together?

i have seen it done just don't have a book. the pinwheel i did was very easy and i guess i just need a really good photo and can redesign it.

I have a book of the Twister patterns but each one is made the regular way. If you'd like when I get home I'll get you the name of the book.

I can't get these messages to go through. I would love the name of the book. I think just a good pic would help. The pinwheel quilt in my avitar was easy with the template but each row is same color.

You can make a pattern for the two pieces and just sew as normal blocks. I'm in a camper in Ohio or I would draw one out and scan it in. Graph paper and I get along pretty well.:)

it definitely can be done without the twister tool. it would take a lot of organization as the different parts of each block would have to contain the piece of the right pinwheel color.
