I finally finished the denim quilt. It is so heavy I was worried about getting the binding on it, but finally finished it. I think my quilter did a great job with the hearts. With the thickness of the seams on this quilt, there wasn't much that could be done and stay inside each block. Here is a picture of the entire quilt and a close up of her quilting. This is a gift quilt to a very good friend of mine that loves my little yorkie, Max. Pam, my friend, has a little dog named Cinnamon. Pam had taken a picture of the two dogs together a few weeks ago, so I transferred the picture to fabric and made her the pillow to give to her with the quilt. I am delivering them today. Sure hope she likes them.

Since I have done a Denim rag quilt . . . . . I know the workout you had maneuvering the quilt around.
WONDERFUL JOB! |
Beautiful job. Very beautiful quilt.

I love how you put the hearts on the denim quilt, nice thought. I love a heavy quilt and no draft will ever come through that denim.
The pillow is so wonderful. It is such a thoughtful personal gift which will be loved and appreciated. |
Both are fantastic. You must be very proud of yourself. She will love it.

Wow that is awesome.

She couldn't help but like both the pillow & quilt!
They are so super. I'm in the midst of collecting denim for a quilt and you might have given me some more ideas to incorporate in mine. Thanks for posting, Debs |
