mustashes love or hate?

I am not fond of facial hair, but this is to support prostrate cancer awareness so I am good with it (for now). The disease is awful -- we have lost friends to it.

I like facial hair as long as it's neat and trimmed, although not full beards. I have never known my husband without a mustache and partial beard. He's had it since high school. My dad was clean shaven until I was a teen, then had a full beard. My 15yo son is getting his beard in now. Just like his dad.

I LOVE my DH's mustache... he was just starting it when he met and it's only been shaved off a few times in nearly 40 years we've been together (almost 37 married)... My son also has a trimmed beard... well, usually trimmed... I leave that to his sweet wife now! I'm all for the mustache!!

My husband has a full beard and I love it. It is always neat but not fussy. He started it when we went skiing over 38 years ago and kept it ever since. I remember that when we came to ET, none of the docs had beards and my husband was told that he would look more professional without it. He kept it anyways and about a year later we went to a conference and noticed that lots of the guys had them. He laughed and said he was just a trend setter.

I love men with moustache's...also love beards. My late DH always had a moustache... well except for the time he trimmed the one side to short and then tried to fix it and made it worse so he just shaved it all off. Now mind you I was still in bed sleeping when he did this. When he came home for lunch, I was so shocked.. First thing out of my mouth was "What did you do?" LOL

I like them IF they're kept nicely trimmed otherwise no.

I guess my attitude is 'don't play with it' - either be clean-shaven or have a (neatly trimmed) beard, but don't make fancy shapes (like the thin 'stripe' of beard down each cheek connecting to a thin goatee that seems to be fashionable right now, or (pet hate) the soul patch - just looks like you missed a bit)

Also think that having a full beard but shaving your head looks odd...

I know that this is really unfair, since it is just the men involved experimenting with their look the same way that women do and they should be allowed just as much 'freedom of expression' etc. But I don't like it!! LOL

I love beards as long as they are well groomed I especially like beards with a little gray in them
