Aqua and chocolate for my daughter
3 Attachment(s)
It took a year of sewing on and off to make the 225 little blocks for this quilt. I quilted it on my longarm with freehand ribbons in mid-December and bound it last week, just in time to present it to my daughter at midnight on Christmas. She slept under it that night and every night since. She loves it.
It's just plain old Square in a Square blocks, alternating light and dark. They make a secondary pattern of Ohio Stars, which is nice because my son-in-law in from Ohio. I used one chocolate brown fabric with pale aqua morning glories on it, a reproduction print from the International Quilt Study Center, and 25 different aqua print cottons. I'm so happy it's finished!!! |
Love the colors together ! Great Job  Looks like it is already being loved :)
