Another set of American Girl doll clothes
10 Attachment(s)
I made most of these using the patterns from the 30 Minute Doll Clothes show on Sewing With Nancy. I ordered the book and DVD but haven't needed the DVD. Great stuff. The hoodie used a Simplicity pattern which took me way longer than 30 minutes! That zipper!!! I used lots of my quilting fabrics and leftovers from other quilts. When the granddaughter got them she hugged me and said "I am the luckiest girl in the land". So cute! She has since "ordered up" several more outfits. I may have to post these in batches.

The last one should be of the three pillowcase dresses. One for the Granddaughter, one for the "honorary" Granddaughter and one for the doll. No wonder my quilting is falling behind!!

She is the luckiest girl in the land!! Very pretty! Makes me wish for a granddaughter ...not meant to be!
|
super! You have one lucky granddaughter ... who has one talented grandmother. :)

Those are all so pretty. She is a very lucky girl.

Wow, those are really cute.
She definitely is one lucky grand daughter. |
Adorable. And you granddaughter sounds adorable, too. Aren't they wonderful!!!!!

I made the clothes for the dolls for craft fairs for 10 years. If you need zippers for jackets etc. Newarkdressmaker and home sew both carry doll sized zippers from 2" to 6" in both seperating and regular zippers. Both have web sites . Love the set you made for your DGD.

Kathy thanks so much for that information! I could only find a 7" separating zipper and I am really not adept at cutting it down so I think I could do a better job with the right size zipper!!!
