hello from lehigh valley pa
 

Hi my name is Mandy and I live in the lehigh valley pa I have been a member a few months now and really enjoy reading all the post and hints and love! love! love! looking at all the beautiful quilt photos,I am so new to quilting altho have been sewing 50 yrs mostly garments home decor doll clothes sewing with my 1972 kenmore,untill 2006 when I got an embroidery/sewing combo love it.... but I will never give up my kenmore I still sew on it.I'm sure I will be asking a lot of question soon as I can find my way around here untill then you all have a great day....O by the way is there any members in or around the lehigh valley pa area it seems like not to many quilters my way...have a good day....Mandy

Welcome Mandy! I am new here too, and it is very interesting and quilts are gorgeous. There did not seem to be many quilters in my area either until I went to the local quilt store and found that there are many of us out there. So, try your local fabric store, you will be surprised. although to be honest.. I travel quite frequently through the LV area to get to my parent's and my in laws.. and back home.. and hopefully I won't be a Jersey-ite for much longer.. I miss PA!

if you want a trip, there was a cute little Amish shop out in Kutztown that carried all kinds of fabrics.. I went there once while I was in college.. I can't remember the name though. :/
