Info: Summer in the Park

Saw that a lot of people everywhere had questions about this quilt, whose Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorial is on YouTube. I just spent quite awhile trying to navigate their tutorial section on their website (frustrating!) and reading Qs & As.

2 jellyrolls (1 print and 1 solid) creates the Lap quilt in the tutorial
4 jellyrolls (2 print and 2 solid) creates a Full size bed quilt
6 jellyrolls (3 print and 3 solid) creates a Queen size bed quilt

1 jellyroll = 2 7/8 yards fabric cut into 2.5" x WOF strips for those who want to DIY from their stash

Block size:
Each cut unit measures 8.25" square when pressed open; 4 units sewn together create a 15" block

This may not be much info, but it's good enough to plan with. FYI, I have not made this quilt yet but it's on the slate for a December project. Since "Life Happens," it's best to post this now rather than waiting and forgetting to post altogether.

Mahalo for the measurements.

The tutorials are easier to find on Missouri Star Quilt Company's site if you search for "Summer in the Park" and hit "Return" on your keyboard instead of the magnifying glass search symbol:

http://quiltingtutorials.com/all/sum...rk-honey-buns/

Now all I need are the jelly rolls/honey buns.
:)

Great info! I recently finished one that I made with 1 "homemade" jelly roll and muslin - it finished about 60x80 or so, including an inner & outer border. I will definitely make this pattern again. I love it! I starched my fabric before I cut it so it would be easier to handle the bias.
