What is the best Janome memory craft to buy
 

I want to buy a new Janome memory craft. All are pricy so I want to make the right choice for home quilting, any suggestions?

None of us can predict what your needs and wants are in a sewing machine.
Do you have other machines? Or will you have one only, to do it all?
What features are important to you? mandatory? no need at all?

The best thing you could do would be to go to your dealer and do some test drives.
Also, sit down and compare the specs for each of the machines ... and determine what is the same and different from one model to the other.
Check the Janome site, as there is a good side-by-side comparison tool (at least there used to be).

And then buy one step above what you think you want and need ... as you'll like the machine so much, and soon want the next model up! :)

i love, love, love my MC6600P. :)

the 7700 is nifty because the throat is 2" wider - a real plus during the quilting phase.
but - and this is just me and my perspective - i have found it very easy to avoid the expense of "upgrading". :)

I have an old MC9000 and it's still a wonderful machine. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I have a very simple $300 Janome so anything I get will be quite an upgrade. Getting excited, I will try out the Janome site to make comparison and then go to my dealer. thanks

I recently got my 7700 and love it. I chose to go with that rather than the new 8900 or 8200 because it had everything I needed and I was able to get a great deal because my dealer is phasing it out. I absolutely love it!!!

Ditto on the 6600....I bought a used one that had been traded in for an upgrade....she is everything I want in a machine with the lone exception of embroidery....she is truly a workhorse!
