batting

what is the difference in heirloom 80/20 batting and 80/20 batting. I think I may have ordered the wrong thing

What is the brand name? I think Hobbs 80/20 is all labeled "heirloom".

Hobbs has regular 80/20 and fusible 80/20, both are labeled Heirloom. You might call the place you ordered and see if they can change it if you did get the wrong thing.

Hobbs calls their cotton & cotton blend batts (Heirloom) it's their brand name---no difference---just perhaps a different company- 80/20 is 80% cotton, 20% polyester- the only difference you may find is one may have a bit different loft than another- but i've used many different 80/20 blends- and havent noticed much difference- as long as you didn't mistakenly get a fusable- when fusable was not wanted i see nothing to worry about.

It is Hobbs...It just seems to be thinner than what I have been buying at LQS Thanks for answering my question.
