I am trying to decide whether to laugh or cry
I am fmq straight lines on a table topper in my sewing room. My husband comes in to use the computer which is in the same room. As I am concentrating on my straight line he sneezes. I jumped and you can imagine what my straight line looks like.
Time for the seam ripper. Maybe I should have him do it. |
My DH called me one night after school and told me he had an accident (with my brand-new car). He sneezed and jerked the wheel which made the car jump the divider and tore out the underside. My options were "do I cry or kill him?" lol I think by tomorrow you'll laugh about your reverse sewing adventure.

Laugh. It's will be a fun memory soon.

Hehehe..... well maybe that or maybe explain all the wonders that seam rippers are capable of

They say if you did not laugh you would cry. I am a firm believer in laughing first and then cry if I have to.

Trying to FMQ straight lines is difficult! I find it easiest to go to the right aiming to stop at a certain point or towards myself stopping at a certain point. I want to find one of the thick rulers used by long arm quilters to use on my regular sewing machine.

it's almost impossible to free motion straight lines. sneeze or no sneeze. at least for me. good luck!
|
Oops, sorry!!!!!

Tartan: go to your local glass store and ask them to cut you one from their scrap bin, it will cost you only pennies.
|
I sneezed and hit a guardrail on a side road once. It happens.
