For those who shop at Joann's, I got a coupon sale good for this weekend that says 25% total purchase on regular, sale and clearance, good Fri-Sun. Might want to look for that if you plan to go there this weekend.

I am going to try and get there today and see what I cannot live without. especially needles for the machine.

They have been very generous with their coupons lately I think. I have a lot in my wallet just waiting to be used.

You can also go on their website and print these coupons as well. If you have a smart phone download the app for Joanns and it also contains coupons that can be used in conjunction with you other coupons!

My only frustration w/ Joann's is that while they are very generous w/ their coupons its very hard to find non sale items.

Not this week,beings they have a 25 percent coupon good on sale items also. DGD and I did get some flannel for rag quilt she is going to try.

I got some flannel and batting yesterday and remembered why I never go there. I was number 15 in line for cutting. One lady ahead of me had 30 bolts in her cart. Then I had to wait in another line to pay.

I went yesterday to replenish my thread. 40% plus 25% is hard to beat. I always stock up when it is discounted like that.
I also needed to get backing for a psq that I am almost done piecing. I was very disappointed with the quality of their fabric. I know I have seen others post about this problem. I have not really shopped for fabric there in at least 4 months, but I sure noticed a difference. I came home with thread, only. My 2 closest quilt stores have closed in the last 3 months. So sad:(

I was there yesterday and didn't realize that there was a sale until I was paying for my purchases!! Luckily, when I first got there I noticed that there was a free coupon app for my cell phone. I downloaded it, right then and there, not really sure how it worked. When I got to the register the cashier took my phone and tallied up the coupons for me.

I was very happy to get $6.00 off of a pr of Friskar scissors and almost $10 off the price of a 12 x 18" Olfa cutting mat.

I was going to get a couple pieces of fabric but changed my mind when I saw the line! There were only two girls cutting the fabric, they were helping customer #11 and my ticket was # 28!!!

All of the sewing notions were 50% off yesterday.
