Pot Holders

What is the best fabric and batting to use for pot holders?

SherriB 04-25-2013 05:13 PM

I use 100% cotton fabric and 100% cotton batting and a layer of Insulbrite batting.

I agree with SherriB and trennag - you don't want to use polyester as it will melt.

Before insulbrite, inside, I used 4 layers of terry cloth cut from the good part of towels that had developed holes. All 100% cotton.
