My NY Beauty Quilt! P.S. Put your sunglasses on:)

I have been wanting to make a NY Beauty and finally made one! I used my favorite colors and designed this modern setting in EQ7. The PP part was lots of fun, but sewing curves was..umm..challenging although the more I sewed, the better it got! Quilting this baby was tons of fun although pebbling took A LONG time, and I mean a loooooong time. I decided to give the quilt rounded corners and added piping to the binding..all in all..I am in love with this quilt!

It measures 45'' and I was encouraged to enter it into our local guilds show, and to my shock it won an honorable mention amongst 468 beautiful quilts! I was sew shocked and so excited at the same time! It was a wonderful experience making and showing the quilt and now it hangs in my living room to remind that Florida is beautiful too:o
