Once Upon a Time Quilt for our Special Girl

My DD purchased this kit some time ago saying that one day she would have a special girl to give it to. She now has a beautiful little 5 year old in her life and this is her Christmas gift. She appliqued half the blocks, I did the other half, I then put it all together and I have spent the last 6 days and almost 2000 yards of thread quilting it. DD will finish the faces on Friday when I see her. I can't wait to see our little ones face on Christmas Day.

Oh my, your special little girl is very lucky to have two such special big girls in her life. The quilt is beautiful and the time and effort that you and your daughter have put into it, shows how special this little girl really is. Absolutely lovely!
