Car Seat Cozy Pattern

I'm looking for a pattern for the type of car seat cover that fits over the infant pumpkin seat. They generally have elastic around the edge and a flap you can open so the baby can look out. Does anyone have any ideas? I couldn't even find one in the Simplicity pattern books. I'd be willing to buy a used copy if anyone is done with theirs.

Not sure what a pumpkin seat is. But if you just measure the seat top rim and add enough fabric for an elastic sleeve it should work. Also cut a hole for the face and add a piece of fabric to layer over baby's face. Be sure and use a fabric that doesn't give off lint or fuzz.

I was wondering about the lint/fuzz issue, too. The mother wanted fleece, but I'm not sure that is a great idea.

It recently made one for my grandson. My daughter steered me to this site. You don't have to use fleece, I used cotton and flannel and it worked out well. check it out! http://www.fleecefun.com/for-baby.html
