Coats & Clark all purpose thread

I used some of the C & C thread for my quilt label. When I sprayed with water to remove the stablizer, it actually bled. I do not remember ever seeing this before. The colors were hot pink and lime green. I never had a problem with the older thread, but I just bought this a few months ago. Just saying..........

Interesting. . . 99% of the time I use C&C Dual Duty and have never had a problem. . .hmmmmmmHope you were able to save your label!!!

I hope it wasn't on the quilt. I would notify the company, this is not acceptable.

I've never had any problem with Coats and Clark thread bleeding. Of course I haven't used that brand for a few years as I have been buying cone thread.

I would contact the company. I had some pink thread last year that just was not very good and I contacted them and they sent me a new spool.

I haven't bought any Coats and Clark thread in a while. I still lots left and never had a problem with any of it. None of it has ever bled or anything like that.
