Simple baby quilt

Made this quilt for a young neighbor couple's first child. The design is a modification of a pattern I saw in the recent "Love of Quilting" magazine. We recently relocated to SW Florida, and things have finally settled down enough for me to sew again... whew, I was really having withdrawals!

Very pretty! Doesn't look so simple to me! Love the bright colors, and especially the striped edge blocks and mitered corner blocks.

We picked the best winter to move south, eh? Even though we only moved from NC, even there the last couple of months have been awful. I am loving it here.
