Machine Quilter's Showcase

Is anyone going to the Machine Quilter's Showcase show in Wichita next week? This is my first time and I think I over-scheduled myself. All the classes looked soooo good!

I'm thinking about going. Its a 2 hr drive for me. I've never been and really really want to go try some mid-arm machines. Have you ever been to a MQS?
Can anyone tell me what to expect? Is it worth the drive?
Also, do I have to preregister to attend?
Thanks
Amy

You don't have to pre register to attend , just to take classes. It is fun & interesting. Wear comfortable shoes!!. It is smaller than one in Kc or was last year. It is worth the drive. Take list of things you might need. thread, batting. stablizier etc. One can be over whelmed. Enjoy..

As Leonita said, wear comfortable shoes. I went 3 different years when it was in Kansas City. There were lots of vendors and the quilts were so lovely. I took several classes with fabulous teachers. I heartily recommend going if you can.

It will be a 10 hour drive, but I get to stay with a friend I miss and I've signed up for classes. Heading west tomorrow! I'm really excited. Even with a 10 hour drive in a Smart car.
