I'm a newbie!
Hi - I just found out about this site and I'm excited to look around. I took up quilting after my Mammaw passed away, about 10 years ago. She was the one and only quilter in the family. When she passed, she was 90 and wore no glasses, was still cutting out templates with scissors and cereal boxes. She could thread a needle without assistance, and was still piecing and quilting by hand. She used to belong to a group way out in the country, on a dirt road, and those ladies formed a quilting bee. I've always loved sewing, and thought I would get in to quilting to carry on the tradition in our family.
I absolutely love paper piecing, and my favorite fabrics to collect are vintag repro 30's and western prints.
