Hello all,
In response for pictures of my free 1937 Singer 127 just look below. Most are the 127 with a pic of my free 1922 Singer "Red EYE". The 127 was headed to the dump by my sons friend when he told him that I collected old machines and said I could have it. The 66 was a door stop at a local thrift shop. I negotiated a swap for the owners personal Dressmaker in a cabinet with matching seat w/under seat storage. Once loaded in my truck, she said "OBTW", would you like to have this old machine because it's just a door stop and maybe you could use it. So that's the story behind the 66. The pic of the stitch pattern is from the 328K that USPS trashed during shipment to me. The case is history and some damage to the presser bar was done, which I fixed. Once up and running, every adjustment was out of wack. Timing was way off and the bobbin case adjustment was .000 instead of the .016-.020 as required by the manual. It took about an hour to adjust and realign everything and this is probably the first decent stitch this machine has made since 1961. Additional tweaking will be done later Hope you enjoy. Those should clean up just fine!!!

Really nice red eye decals. All the 66s we got after about 1922 were lotus. The red eye (boy would this post annoy BH from Yahoo groups :p) is so lovely but in my mind (and country) they're all back clamping painful things.

Thanks for the pics! Nice job getting the 328 up to speed.

Indeed nice saves! I love how simple the undersides of the old machines are! My Minnesota was offered to me for free at a garage sale to be used as a garden ornament.
