My hubby got a back pay and let me get her. It probably has more then I'll ever use but I'm loving learning her. She has the Laura Ashley designs and up to a 7 x 12" hoop for embroidery. If anyone else has one and can give me some useful tips on her, feel free to share with me! My other machine is a babylock Sofia for small embroidery designs, then there's my old stable 1980's Singer for fast hems and repairs if I have a design going on the others. Got the extension table from All Brands for $99 on ebay that they sold or $150 on their website. Finally got the pics to download for me..yay!!!

Very pretty. I was looking at those before they came out with the dreamwever. I think the Isadore is the prettiest model of brother embroidery machines. They are pretty easy to use, its just learning the in's and out's of embroidery that take time, not necessarily the machine itself. Here is one of my favorite sites

Craftsy also has a free embroidery class that isn't too horrible
I went to a couple seminars and learned a lot though, more hands on
also bought the DVD on machine embroidery from anniescatalog.com, I actually took it as an online class but the feed was poor for me so I asked to switch to a DVD and they let me
Even with all of this I still feel so new even though I have had my machine almost 2 years.

I do recommend you demo software before you buy, because if I had to do it all over again I would start off with a different software.
You can PM me if you need any help since most machines that are 7x12 are essentially the same. I think mine has a few additional features but not much compared to yours
