I us to save all my 'stray' blocks till they threatened to take over -not only the house but they would invade my night mares. Now I have a 1 tote rule-once the tote is full they get sorted and the majority become picnic or car quilts. The rest become shopping bags. I donate them to our local Free Store. I will also hand sew the extra blocks to the corners of the batting before sandwiching. Just in case they ever need fixing. This has saved me a lot of tote space : )

Thanks so much for this link! It's very timely. When looking for some scraps I just found a bunch of squares I had forgotten about. Lots of great ideas.

My sarcasm wins out against common sense.... Sew them together into a quilt and tell people it is an Underground Railroad quilt. (Yes, I'm bad some days)
