What to do with a Twice the Charm pack
Hi All! I have several Twice the Charm packs and cannot find any patterns or tutorials that specifically use this size. Most of the articles I read say to cut it down or cut it in half.
Has anyone ever see a pattern specifically for this size? Thank you!!! |
I had not heard of this pack so I Google it. It looks like MSQ, RJR and FatQuarter shop might have some patterns listed on their sites.

I'm not familiar with these! What size are they?
If they're square, seems like you could just size up or down a regular charm pattern? All the various pinwheel etc. blocks should still work, they'll just come out a different size. |
Are they basic 5" square charms? If so, there are many books (look for 'Nickle Quilts' ) for patterns using 5" squares, also, check the websites for who ever the charm packs are from * they often have free patterns to use/showcase their precuts and fabric collections*

I think they are 5X22? I don't know of a pattern that would use the whole piece but look for rectangle block patterns like Atkinson's Fire Escape pattern?

the Shadowbox pattern by Mountainpeek Creations https://www.mountainpeekcreations.com/patterns.aspx uses fat quarters cut to 5 1/2 x 21 1/2 for the "windows" but that could very easily be sized down to work with these cuts !

Here are the pattern ideas from Moda Bakeshop for dessert rolls. I'm sure you could adapt them for your twice the charm as well!
