Baby quilts, what I learned

I made two baby quilts. The red kitty was made using wool batting. What I learned is that it is very soft and drapes well. I am definitely going to make more quilts using wool. Love the feel of it. The Hey Diddle Diddle quilt came out very happy and I washed it to give it a crinkly worn look.

Both quilts are adorable. How did the wool batting hold up with washing? I recently bought a bolt at Tuesday Morning but haven't used it yet and wonder if it needs to be pre-shrunk. There were no washing instructions on the bolt.

Love both of the quilts. I really like when they come out all wrinklely out of the dryer. I have never used the wool batting, but just might try it sometime in a babyquilt.

I was wondering the same thing. Will it shrink up in the dryer like wool normally does? by the way, love the quilts.

Be careful about using wool, so many people are allergic to it ,especially babies..You did a great job on your quilts , sorry to put a negative over your work, but I know for sure that a lot of people have a problem with wool.

Really cute quilts! I can't use wool because of the allergies in the household but sure wish I could because of the warmth.
