Eleanor Burns Flying Geese
So many of you say you use EB's method for making flying geese. My question is, how do you learn her method?
|
I have not followed this method but here is a link www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKfM3pJYSmc
|
She has demo it on her Quilt in a Day series shown on your local PBS and in her books. It is the method I use because just before you sliver trim the block, you have a chance to make any adjustment with your seam so they come out perfect every time.

Her ruler comes with easy to follow instructions

Google Learn Eleanor Burns method of making flying geese.

I learned from the instructions that come with her ruler. I know you don't have to have her ruler, but the markings on it, and its exact size, make it so easy. The only down side is that you need the right size ruler for your flying geese.

Go on YouTube. She has a video showing her method.
|
She also has a new ruler that does all of the sizes. It is set up like the Nune Taylor Shape Cut rulers.
|
That should say June Taylor
