Hi everyone :-) I'm new to the board and new to quilting and pretty much any kind of sewing.

By day (okay, actually 24/7) I'm an TV news Assignments Manager. I'm the person responsible for keeping up with all of the news in North Texas and sending reporters and photographers on assignments. It's very stressful.

Anyway, I've always been interested in quilting because my grandmother and aunt were both so good at it, and decided it might be the perfect way to relief a little stress and meet some normal people. TV people are NOT normal people, by and large :roll:

I look forward to getting to know everyone here on the board. It looks like a great group of people so far :lol:
