in search of shampooer
I need a good carpet shampooer. What are your suggestions (the best inexpensive one). Thanks.

I have this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Hoover-SteamVa...carpet+cleaner We bought it about 5 years ago. It works better than the carpet rentals at the store, cleans beautifully. I just finished cleaning the all the carpeting in the house today. The carpet took about 3 hours to dry and was soft to walk on. |
Thanks for response.

Yes, have the Hoover too...does great....even took area rugs out to driveway, cleaned them there, let them dry and then returned to hardwood floored rooms......like new! Just make sure you clean it thoroughly after using....you will have it for many yrs.....

yes, Hoover machines are the best. Easy to use ! Need to clean after use.

i have a bissell power steamer. i love mine and you have to clean it after as with all shampooers.

I like my Hoover. It's big but does the job. I clean it real good after use.

I have the Bissell Steam machine and I really like it. One thing I didn't think of before I purchased it is to smell the cleaner that goes in the machine. Since all the carpet will smell like it, make certain it suits.

Another Hoover fan here, too, except for the Max. Neither mine nor my daughter's lasted very long. Be sure to get the one with the spin brushes, not the bar. Mine is burgundy and a little larger than the one above, but they are all good machines. I have over 1100 sq feet of white carpet. I like the Hoover cleaner in the green bottle that came with my machine. If you rinse the carpet after you clean it, it will stay clean longer. This machine makes that easy as you can switch from clean to rinse without changing the water.

Mine is also a Bissell small machine. It does a good job and was under a $100 I think. Its been several years since I bought it so don't remember what I paid for sure.
The Bissell cleaner to use in it I buy at walmart. I don't have any smells after I use it. |
