needed a new wallet so made one. Am going to make another to see if I can make it better.
all a learning experience. The last one I made was great but the card section stretched so the cards were falling out.

Neat! Do you mind sharing your pattern? I'm in the need of a new wallet too and I never thought of making one. It's so pretty!

I use on line tutorials a lot. This is http:// darnkat.wordpress.com/quilted-fabric-wallet.tutuorial/ As you can read it is a bit different because she qiuilted it and I didn't so much. Also did a magnetic closure for practice and put it inside a pocket and put a button with an elastic hair tie rather than magnetic on outside. I need to detach the tie and put it on the edge to work better. It is a touch larger than a regular wallet.

Nice! I have been scouring Pinterest for wallet tutorials as of late myself. How long did this one take you?

Nice wallet! Could you put a ribbon or hair tie with small button running vertically across cards to keep them from falling out?

It took me a while because I went slowly. I have a problem when I download on tutorials with mixed pattern pieces because on my computer it does not show clearly show the folds and lines in examples. You could do this in a day if the lines etc. were more distinct. (of course you have to take in consideration I am 75 , on a learning curve, and on a slippery slope. smiles)

I've been looking at some of the tutes. I absolutely hate the one I bought. Too heavy!!
