New to me: Babylock hemmer

I got a new to me Babylock hemmer. DH got it so that I could hem pants and he saw that you could attach quilt bindings with it - a plus. Quilt binding was listed as one of the things you could do with it.
Came with how to hem the pants but no insturctions on how to use it for quilt bindings. Can someone help me figure this out.
Nicest hemming I've ever done in my life.

is this what you got. If you figure out how to do the binding on it, I would love to hear all the details. I would invest in something like this if the price is reasonable.

Hope it works for you. I found that the quilt sandwich was way too thick for my foot.

I agree with PaperPrincess. A quilt sandwich may be too thick. They may have been referring to just binding on clothing.

That machine produces a chain stitch....like in professionally hemmed clothing, drapes, etc. I had one at one time, purchased when I purchased my L/A, along with a pro serger.......I resold both and just kept the L/A. I really had no use and I don't think one wants a chainstitch on the binding of a quilt....btw. The one I had did
take the fullness of a quilt sandwich.....
