Hi all
I live in Roswell Georgia. Started quilting in November and am hooked! Have a viking sapphire 960 and a tiara mid arm. I love doing free motion on the mid arm. Have done about 7 twin size quilts. Love taking classes and learning more. My background is in physics and all so I love the detail and math of it. I have been doing dresden plates and want to make a king size quilt with the plates the final size is 16 in" for the square, 14" in plate. Starting to do a little appliqué any ideas on a pattern I would love to receive.
Also I am looking for a bernina for my future sewing machine any input on that I would love too.

Thanks all :)

Breezy

Welcome from Southern California. I have an older Bernina 1530 and have loved this machine even without all the current whistle and bells others have.

Welcome, Breezy! You're off to a roaring start if you've finished 7 quilts since November -- that's more than a lot of us with much longer quilting histories. I was a physics major until my junior year, when I switched to "Individual Program of Studies". I like to say I have a B.S. in BS. I have two Bernina 830 machines, the original model. I have heard good things about the Bernette for a smaller machine.
