My bucket list

I have always wanted to dye my own fabric. Two weeks ago I took a fantastic class from Jamie Wallen of Quilters Apothecary. Here are most of my fabrics. I'm still waiting for my purples to stop bleeding. Three colors gave me 36 fat quarters.

Way to go Harriet! Your dyed fabrics look wonderful.

Beautiful colors! Really love the vibrant red and gold! Is it similar to tye-dying without dipping the fabric in more than one color and the tying? I used to do a lot of that about 35 years ago!

That looks great. Can you do a tutorial on this project since we don't all live in your area ? I will watch with great pleasure. So willing to learn. I wonder if there is any tutorials out there?

My hands turned purple when I tried this. It put me off having another go. Your colours look fantastic, looking forward to seeing the quilt.

Do you have a pattern in mind for these beautiful colors?
