Previous owner flubs

I am sure a few of us have bought machines and wondered, "What were they thinking?"about some previous owner. May be paint, may be modifications. I present my latest purchase. Rotary White.
P.O. read DC voltage on the Hamilton Beach motor. Soooo He rigged up a DC power supply to it. So currently (pun intended) I have a singe speed rotary. Not a big problem for me to give it AC. And a speed control. I got it cheap. |
My dad always said, in these kinds of situations, "if you think the price of education is expensive, try ignorance".

The machine is very pretty, I have a vintage White similar to your machine without all the extras.

Great looking machine!

Thanks all, I'll post when I get it dialed in.

I got impatient and threw a hand crank (from Tractor supply) on it to test it. It does nice stitches.

A bit prettier too.

There's very nice details on your machine, rounded chrome plates and fittings. Decals looks very nice, hardly any wear shows in the picture. If the black part shines up it will look like new.
Very nice work! I'm a bit emvious of your find :- ) |
