Juki TL2000qi -- just ordered at Amazon (good price!)

If anyone is looking to buy one of these machines, just wanted to share that I ordered this new machine today for what seems to be a great price -- $575 + tax, with free shipping because I have Amazon Prime. The only catch (knock on wood) is that it's not currently in stock, and may take up to 6 weeks to get here).

I wanted to to go with a local dealer, but the local dealer isn't particularly local, and i just couldn't pass up that price.

Now to to figure out where to buy authentic bobbins to fit this machine. Yay!

You're going to love this machine. I've had mine for two years now. Such a reliable, sturdy workhorse. Look up raichert.com. They have authentic Juki parts.

Great! I got mine a couple years ago for 549 thru amazon. Love it!

I just looked on Amazon and it's $719 now (about 20 minutes after you posted), at least where I am looking:

Yes that's what I thought too. But I'd seen it at a cheaper price a couple of weeks ago, so decided to try to find it again. I went to the listing at $719, and noticed a link under the "add to cart" button, that says something like "new from $574.99." I clicked through there and found it listed again at 574.99.

That is quite a bit less than I paid for mine 2 years ago. You will love it!!!

Thanks! I never noticed that, and it's rather strange, but it definitely works!

Patricia Drew, bakermom, and Jeanne S, I am pretty excited about this! If you have any particular suggestions for accessories you like for this machine, I'm all ears.

I feel a bit guilty and silly buying a new machine when my first one (Janome 7318) is only a few months old and is such a nice little machine, and since I'm only on my second quilt!!! But I'm liking quilting so much, and I coveted a machine with a big throat, needle up/down, and a couple of other features when I bought the Janome to test the water. At that time, as a beginner, it seemed like overkill to spend a lot on a machine. Since then I've been reading a lot about different machines and started zeroing in on this model. I kept my eyes peeled for a good used one on Craigslist etc -- by the time I found this one I knew it was a good price and jumped on it. I'm a little concerned that the speed will be a bit much for me but I'll manage!

Good for you! Have fun with your new machine!

From my experience when Amazon says it is out of stock and may take up to 6 weeks it usually come earlier than that
