Mending-Yuck!

My husband asked me to mend the hole in the knee of his outside work jeans. This is the same pair that were on their last legs the last time I patched the seat. Well I found a ready to go patch and sewed it on by machine. I wonder what his reaction will be when he sees it.:D

Should be extra sturdy now.

Awesome!! You should have quilted the knees...:D:p:thumbup:. When my husband and I were first married, he wanted me to patch his favorite jeans. The fabric was so rotten it was futile to even try. Your patch idea might have worked on those pants. Very clever and he has more storage.

That's better then DH handing me a almost bullet proof hunting jacket and asking for a new zipper. The fabric must have been developed in a lab somewhere.

Use what you have! Isn't that what we've all been taught growing up?!!

Good job! My husband just asked me to fix the zipper on his work pants. I hate having to get the sewing machine into mending mode.
