Ever Sewn sewing machine

This video by Leah Day shows the machine with the housing off and she discusses the machine. This new inexpensive brand has great reviews. |
I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these after I get moved. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

I was going to buy one but it does not have the auto thread cutter, a must for me if I buy a new machine. It has all the other features but not that.
|
Is there a dealer support network set up for them?
|
One Bernina dealer close to me sells them.

The Ever Sew'n looks like a really great starting or extra machine. I was impressed with all the metal inside. Walmart carries low priced Brother machines but I really would never buy one for a new sewer as they just aren't heavy enough to keep from moving around. I've recommended older second hand machines but this looks good. I'd buy one if I needed another machine - last count I have either 17 or 18 (lost count) but many are antiques/vintage - all Singer.

I've been at Quilt Festival all day. I don't really look at the sewing machines but I'll try to remember to see if there are any of these being shown. |
That's interesting. I don't think the Bernina dealers here sell anything except Berninas. |
I found this thread at PatternReview where someone has done a little sleuthing and connected some dots regarding the Eversewn company:
