White or cream?

The Dresden Dahlia was so fun to make from my green scraps that I did another. I will probably do one more and make them into a table runner. For background, which do you prefer, white or cream?

that's tough==I like them both--OK, I'll vote White

Like both of them but if I have to vote, I vote cream.

Your dresden dahlia block is very nice. I think I would vote for the cream background-it seems a little bit more subdued but the the white is lovely too. You maybe need to just leave both laying on a bed or such and live with it for a couple of days and see which one you feel more comfortable with. Good luck. I am sure you will make a great decision.

Cream spoke to me right away!!! Great block, it will look great with either one!!!

I'm going with the cream. Little softer, unless you want a brighter effect. Hard to choose.

Cream as it is in the same colour family....

Its very hard to choose. I'm with Tessagin. The cream is softer, the white brighter. IDK

I like them both

I feel the white helps the greens in the DP to sparkle and pop but washes out the gray star in the center. The cream seems to do the opposite, tones down the greens but makes the gray star center pop more. It is a tough call for me as I like both but I think I am leaning towards the cream because it somehow enhances the contrast between the gray star and the green blades of the DP. I really love this block Tartan and am so thankful you did a tute on it. I hope to try it out some day.
