I am a happy camper

Took my sewing machine in as it started sewing backwards and needed servicing. got it back it sewed forwards for a while then again started sewing backwards again I took it back and he said it wouldn't sew backwards for him so he could not fix it. brought it home it sewed forwards then again started sewing backwards. I purchased machine from Sewing Machine Plus 4 years ago because they had offer of 5 year extended warrenty. Called them and they said send it in. Got a brand new machine from them last night. I will be buying my next machine from them when the time comes. I am very happy with their customer service

Maybe Companies are finally waking up to the idea that they need to treat their customers better. A happy ending for you and repeat business. What could be better!

Wow, that is great!

Do you have any idea why the machine was sewing backwards? Mine recently started doing that intermittently. It "Fixes" itself if I turn it off and then turn it back on. Since it is a computerized machine, I suspect that the 'mother board' is going bad.

That's excellent!

he said it wouldn't sew backwards for him so he could not fix it.

Really? He had no idea why a machine may be doing this in all his expertise? How lame. I wouldn't use him to change the machine light bulb. I have bought a new machine from Sewing Machine Plus and no problems at all. Great place to shop with confidence online.

I bought one off eBay that was doing that... and it was the main board. I didn't buy a new board it wold have cost too much

I had an older Kenmore that worked perfectly until I had it on during an electrical storm.....whew... after that... it would only stitch back wards.... I didn't try to get it fixed.

A very strange thing. I don't have any computerized machine. Maybe he didn't know what caused it because people don't bring those machines in for repair.
