Shoes for LA quilters

Am in need of suggestions for shoes to wear when longarm quilting. Legs getting tired lately. Thanks

My longarm is in the basement, on an unfinished cement floor. I have those foam puzzle piece squares down with gel mats on top. Then I wear cushy socks & foam Crocs. Hot pink. I think the color helps.
Many people complain about arm/hand/shoulder pain, but my problem is also my legs. I don't have pain, but I get muscle tightness between my knees & hips. I think I stand stiff legged. I usually take a break about every 45 minutes, or when my bobbin runs out. The Crocs seem to help.

I get leg pain if I go barefoot or wear scuffs. Have to wear sturdy shoes with arch supports. Arch supports can be purchased at any dollar store. I went to a podiatrist and got special ones just for me and my insurance paid for them. But the cheap ones work well too. Hope this helps you

I love my Ariat Lacers. They do also make a slip-on. Support the foot to save the legs and hips.

I have Dr. Scholl's gel insoles that help with my foot pain. They're inexpensive and last a long time.

I'm a Birkenstock girl but Dansko clogs come highly recommended, everyone in the healthcare and restaurant industries wears them, my friend in corrections wears them. Wear a good pair of support hose with them :)

I use the anti fatigue mats, and I also set a timer to take regular breaks after 30 minutes......

I wore these on cement as I stocked over 2,000 lbs. of stock each week, the last 12 years I worked, in tennis and sandles. Try some on when your feet or legs hurt, you will see the difference.

I'd never heard of these, and they look interesting... but a bit pricey!

I have learned to switch shoes often. I also got some diabetic socks that are super cushy and not expensive.
