Bobbins for Juki 2010q
Just received my new Juki 2010q machine! Love it! I need to order extra bobbins for it. Would you buy authentic Juki bobbins or a generic brand?

Hi, You're going to love your machine. I've had mine for 3 years now. It's great.
I've used both generic and Juki bobbins. However, I did buy the generic in person at a local sewing supplies store. I had brought an original Juki bobbin with me, and was able to ensure that the generic and my Juki bobbin matched exactly. |
I've bought from Sewing Parts Online.
I've also used bobbins that I bought for the Brother PQ1500. |
I would definitely make sure to use genuine bobbins for that machine. The wrong bobbin can cause stitching problems.

I've purchased generic bobbins from the sewing machine place I purchased the machine and genuine bobbins from Juki at shows. I have had no problems with the genuine bobbins. Some of the generic ones I have to trade back in they either won't fill all the way or some other problem with the manufacturing. I stick with the Juki ones now.

SewVacDirect carries Juki bobbins, I got mine from them

I prefer the genuine. I've tried a couple of the generic. Some don't have a hole to pull the thread through and it wouln't wind properly.

I purchased thirty (yes thirty) generic bobbins for my Juki from Sewing Parts Online and I've been using them for about a year with absolutely no problem. I hate winding bobbins so I bought enough to have two bobbins with each color except for white, off white and light gray, which have six bobbins each. I also purchased ten generic bobbins for my Janome all they also work great. I would definitely buy generics again.

I ordered bobbins for my Juki 2010 from Amazon before this thread was started. They came and looked good. Went to use one today, and they don't fit the bobbin winder. They are too narrow and the lever binds and the machine will not run. They might work fine if I can find another way to wind them, but since my bobbin winder is out with the LA, it's a bit of a hike to go use it.

I ordered 100 bobbins for my Juki 2010q off of Ebay. These were excellent. I have used them a while and have had absolutely no problems. With shipping the whole 100 cost me about $20.00. I love having boxes of bobbins wound and ready to go.
