Stack of tumbler blocks
1 Attachment(s)
I have a laundry basket of scraps that I do not have the space to store. So, this afternoon, I thought I'd cut them into tumbler blocks to take on retreat in April. This is a stack of 300-400... barely put a dent in the basket.

You sure got a head start on your retreat project! I know what you mean about not making a dent. I think when you start cutting them, the rest seems to fluff up. Or reproduce!

going to be nice when you get done

Awesome! Think of the quilts still waiting in that basket. You whip them out so fast..no problem.

Wow -- that is a job. Just got the tumbler die and plan to use the up some scraps. A couple of months ago, I cut 200 3" HST's and 200 6" squares out of my scraps and the only thing that happened was I had to store more pieces -- sure didn't make a dent. I think scraps are like rabbits and they multiply if you ignore them.

That is fantastic! I really need to do something like that with a lot of my stash. It has gotten totally out of control and I keep wanting to buy more.

Now that’s what I call being prepared...I can’t wait until I can fit a retreat into my schedule, I hear they are a lot of fun. We look forward to seeing your progress in April...
