Calling all SewEzi Table users:
I have a SewEzi table and absolutely love it...all but one thing...There isn’t anywhere at the right corner to put scissors, pincushion, purple thang, whatever is needed... Yes, there is a little round indention that isn’t of much use. They advertise a plastic swinging tray but I didn’t order it because I could just envision my breaking it off or tipping my table over when walking around it and getting it caught on me. Was thinking about making a hanging bag with a Velcro strap to fasten around the post. Anyone have a fabulous way of solving this. And those that have the swinging tray...do you love it? Or not?

I don't have a SewEzi table but is sound like you could use a hanging pincushion with a bag attached to solve the issue.

Can you place a TV tray to the right when you're sewing?

I made a sewing machine mat and thread catcher/pincushion combo and find them very handy.

Make a short mat (similar to the one shown above) that you can hang on the side. Use a strip of sticky velcro along the side edge of table.
Another option is to make one that can sit beside the machine area. You can use a clear photo stand to hold the organizer. https://sew4home.com/projects/fabric...room-or-office Lots of options and organizer ideas here. This one is cute! https://sew4home.com/projects/storag...-vinyl-pockets |
I bought the swing tray and love it. My SewEzi table is in a corner of the guest bedroom and the swing tray is always open and used with the stuff in it. If and when, guests arrive, everything is covered or put away -- the swing tray swings under the table.

I have one, and also wish I had ordered the one with the swinging tray on it - just like you. There are a couple of good suggestions here though. Glad you posted this question!

I bought a little tray that clamps onto a table at Bed Bath & Beyond. I've used it on some of my sewing tables where the area on the right was not quite large enough to hold everything that seems to accumulate there when I'm sewing. :)
This one is much nicer than what I have; I'm thinking about buying it. The one I have does not swivel. https://www.amazon.com/Stand-Steady-.../dp/B07DY1Q9RB |
Maybe you could get a small plastic cup or empty container and drill a small hole in it and anchor it to your machine with a command hook. It won't hurt the surface and it can be removed easily for transport.
