Flea Market Flowers, by Lori Holt

I loved this quilt pattern when I saw it last year and waited for the sew along to make it. BOW started in January and I finished the top today a couple of weeks early.... I used Lori Holt/ Eleanor Burns sew-in interfacing technique to make the circles and leaves so all turned edge...then machine sewed using matching thread and teeny tiny zig zag so stitches could not be seen...my preferred method. The stems are done with a bias maker. It finishes at 76x86. I’m thinking about FMQ’ing on my domestic so I’m going to hang it up for a few days and think about it. It’s really heavy so I’m not sure yet. Each of the blocks would make a darling WH so that is what I did for our board WH swap. Annaquilts was the recipient of the WH at end of February.

How beautiful! I love any kind of applique, but the vintage repro prints with white will steal my heart every time! Wonderful job on your pieces here. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/heart.gif

Yours is beautiful. I am having such a hard time keeping up with her BOM. Can't wait to catch up with you. In the mean time, thank you so much for sharing, you are encouraging me! I hope mine comes out as lovely as yours!

Very pretty design. As always, you did a great job with the applique and piecing. Looking forward to seeing how you quilt it.
