Baby quilt for great great niece
1 Attachment(s)
New baby in the family. My sister asked for a baby quilt with a farmhouse theme. I found a collection called Sweet Home that I thought fit and matched her nursery colors. I used Kona coastal blue to help the stars pop. The thin border is fabric my sister gave me years ago. So the quilt has a little of the baby’s great great grandma in it. I made the tote with left over fabric from the backing.

So cute!!! You are right, the blue makes it pop.

That's quite a beautiful finish and how lovely that great great grandma's fabric was incorporated. I completely agree that your choice of coastal blue made the quilt sparkle!

What a cute and inviting baby quilt. Love the soft colors and the pop of blue. Your pattern was a great way to incorporate the themed focal print and use the fabric from your sister too. Soooo cute.
