Spring! Baby Goats!

They're so cute! They act like puppies! (Hubbies newest breed of animal interest) One is a week old, and one is a newborn. BTW, any livestock advice is welcome.https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Baby goats are wonderful. I have a small herd of Toggenburg Dairy goats. But we have babies in January and early February in order to have milk for show pigs, if needed. I had 13 little ones out of 6 does. Two of my girls had triplets and 3 had twins and 1 had a single baby.

I don’t have any goat experience, but they sure are adorable!

Baby goats are the cutest!! Yours are adorable! My DH won’t let me have any goats because your fences need to be top notch, which ours aren’t.😢

Such cuties and they are so fun to watch them romp around

Oh how delightful! I have a neighbor/friend that raises dairy goats. It's always fun to drive by the barn when the little ones are out and about!

I don't know anything about goats, except yours are adorable. Good luck with them.

Baby goats are totally precious! We've had babies & adults in the past. We've never had the Boer goats but have had African Pigmies before. Our next door neighbor had a couple of Boers for a while.
Here's a few things to know:
1. Babies are fun, fun, fun to watch, play & jump in the air.
2. Goats will eat anything. We tied some of that fluorescent *surveyor* tape tied to the top of our fence around our garden one year to mark the rows & before you knew it the tape was gone (except for the knots of it on the fence). The goats ATE the dangling tape. You will never have to throw away lunch left overs again.....they will love anything from the kitchen.
3. They love to put their feet up on fences to get to low hanging tree branches, etc. & love to rub on the fences. Hence, they are very hard on fences & you best have a very strong one or you will be repairing & re-stretching it before long.
4. They make great pets ~~~ they love people.
