If you want a break from complicated patterns or want a quick project, this pattern is for you. This wasn’t a kit but I did follow pattern colorway. I did not do all the applique the pattern called for…it looked better to me with just a touch…which is so unlike me…lol.. Applique is turned edge. I made a matching pillow to use up some scraps and spare applique pieces I had made. This is a gift for my neighbor’s daughter who will be moving to her own place…she always gravitated to my colorway quilts throughout my house when she would come visit….so now she’ll have her own.

Love it!! Edyta Sitar is my favorite pattern maker. Love the colors

What beautiful work! Is this back basting method? You must love her a lot to make an appliqué quilt for her!
|
that is beautiful and will be cherished!

Beautiful! I always love seeing your wonderful work, Teen!

You always do such gorgeous work and this is no exception. I'm doing a pattern now using her collection of fabrics called Linen Texture II favorites (32 fat eighths) which looks similar to your colorway. I laughed when you said it was a quick project however as "Needle Turn" would take me a century to complete. Kudos to you for an excellent finish. She will be over the moon!
