Donated Fabric Quilt
2 Attachment(s)
First of all, thank you to SueZQfromMN for sending me the bright pink Hello Kitty fabric from her stash....she knew I would use it for a Project Linus donation. I had planned to make simple pinwheels from it and had some put together, then realized that some of the "kitties" were sideways or upside down as this is a one direction fabric. That drove me crazy (short trip) so I ripped them apart. Took me a couple of days to figure where to go from there. Raided my stash for pinks, whites, ginghams and tiny pink florals and made it up as I went along. Happy that I used some of the original pinewheels too. Quilted in a simple wave design. Some little princess will love it just because it's pink! Love the end result.

There is a little girl, just waiting to cuddle under that sweet quilt.

Congratulations on getting all the kitties corrected. I am sure it wasn't an easy task. All calamities have a workable solution and you found a good one for this fabric. The backing is perfect for a young girl. Great choice.

Cute quilt!

Adorable!
Did you keep the measurements you used, and if you did, would you be willing to share them? This would be a cute quilt in most any focus fabric, I think. |
Adorable quilt, some young lady will be wrapped up in it.

Great setting correction for the "kitties", and the quilt turned out adorable for a little girl.

Looks totally planned! I like it a lot.
